我前女友是一個很愛傘的女孩子，所以我對名牌雨傘也有理解
最好的雨傘，當然是遮骨在日本或英國造，無論選布，以至遮骨的實淨程度都是最好，一次打八號便知那筆錢付得很值得。
中國造遮骨也有好，但要選好的廠，這是QC的問題。中國的無名小廠，不會與你講究QC。
不過香港買不到日本或英國造的傘，我前女友最喜歡的一把傘，是我在東京公幹買給她。

香港的名牌雨傘，應該是梁蘇記吧？
曾經買過一把，在大風的日子傘骨也沒有折曲。
不過沒試過在颶風期間使用，所以不知道有多結實。
這把傘後來不小心弄丟了。
去年在上環發現一家小店，除了賣傘，還替顧客收理雨傘。
其實價錢不算貴；可是普通的傘實在使宜，比修理雨傘便宜得多。
拿去收理，只是不想隨便扔掉仍可用的東西。

梁蘇記的傘強調耐用。唉，一耐用保用，人家就不用常買傘了。沒有人買，就要關門大吉。
如果這樣想，傘易爛可能就是這個原因。
說起修補，我也拿鞋去修補的。

At the risk of sounding superstitious, my understanding and experience is you don’t usually or ever gift give things like comb or umbrella to anybody (who is Cantonese speaking), because their names rhyme like ,”not close,” “part.” Once upon a time, when I was young and stupid (now even worse, old and stupid) and didn’t know better, I bought my mom a comb as a gift. She was furious, more like sad. Look what happened? Now I am thousands of miles away from her. And years ago, a very very good friend of mine gave me or us an umbrella, you know the one with the famous plaid and all that upper crust stiffness associated with it, and then till this day I don’t know what happened, he just disappeared from our life.
If you want your girl friend become your ex girl friend, go ahead, give her an umbrella, that works.

Oh, I almost forgot this story. A woman and a man broke up. The girl gave the man a bottle of “Johnny Walker” as a gift, cos the man’s name is Johnny, and the man gave the woman an umbrella.

梁蘇記有好多分支，那家的後人開的都叫梁蘇記。
各支都願意替其他分支造的傘修理。
關門的只是中環那一家。
我丟失那把是兩、三年前在九龍買的。
想再買一把，不知店還在不在？
