耄耋之年

要活到耄耋(音冒迭)之年已是不易，要健康地老下去更不易，要優雅地老下去更是談可容易。
我的芳鄰年屆九十七歲，上個月搬走了。以後，在我的生活中，會少了一個充滿陽光氣息的老少女。
看到英國最年長的模特兒Daphne Selfe的照片，你一點不會懷疑自己的眼睛，她真的很老。但是，看見她悠然的神情，像是說：對，我很老，那又怎樣。
看著她那一頭毫不掩飾的白髮和滿臉滄桑的臉，我又覺得她老得來很美。
原來，老也可以是一種態度。

she is of course beautiful. Even at this age, u could still clearly see her features. could imagine her gracefulness when she was younger.
know what u means when u write 老少女. At a previous workplace, i also encountered such type. i think the humour, uncontrivedness count. it is an inborn trait.

Georgia O’Keefe aged rather beautifully and she lived to be 98 years old.
