I don’t think I ever saw Fame. But I remember I actually went to see Flashdance in a theater. Back then, “they”–the Hong Kong or US movie/cultural critics, made a big deal about the character, Alex cursing in a scene near the laundromat. Now even a 10 year old curses on screen. The original sound track was pretty awesome.
I don’t remember I went to the theatre to see “Fame” either. I think I watched somewhere, maybe on the TV later. But I did watch “Footloose” at the theatre. Gosh, not good at all, except the music. I watched “Flashdance” at the theatre, such long time ago. Nice movie in our times.
Thanks for your comments. I’ve been thinking how many zero-comment posts I’m going to write. hahahaha…
Ha ha, I watched Footloose in a movie house too. Kevin Bacon, yummy. I hope I didn’t jinx your posts–I am giving myself more credit than I deserve I think. You know sometimes in my lucid moments which are few and far in between, I wonder what keeps me going on writing entries on my blog.
I think Flashdance got everybody in Hong Kong wear leg warmers, that’s, except me.
Sorry, I forgot most of the names of the actors, dancers, whoever in those movies.
Oh, leg warmers were really a scene in my school. Many girls in my class learned how to knit very well and made themselves a pair of leg warmers. Back in that time, I totally hated this girlish stuff.
