他們生產的肥皂沒有防腐劑paraben(這化學成份常用在很多護膚品和化粧品中做防腐劑,有研究指這成份會導致乳癌),成份也很天然。

  5. Hi R&E, I can’t help but wanting to comment when I saw that you’re wondering where you could look for a goat milk cum oatmeal home-made soap. Not sure if you’ve heard of Etsy (www.etsy.com)? It’s like an E-Bay for self-employed artists and crafts people to sell their work online.

There are quite a few Etsy sellers who sell their home-made soaps, most of them are based in America. There was one in particular that I have favourited even though the seller no longer ships her products overseas, so you are rather lucky to be living in the States and have such ready access to these home-made goodies!

There is this “Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey Goat’s Milk Soap" from CozyMoments which looks gorgeous, used all natural ingredients and is paraben-free:

    http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=39174358

Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Castor Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin, Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Sorbitol, Goat’s Milk, Jojoba Oil, Sorbitan oleate, Soybean protein, Titanium Dioxide, Fragrance, Whole Oats, Finely Ground Oatmeal, Fragrance, FD&C colorant.

Alternatively, this Coffee and Cream Goat’s Milk soap looks good enough to eat

Although I personally have never purchased from this seller before, this seller has 100% positive feedback based on 15194 transactions in total (when normally a regular Etsy seller may only have say about hundreds of sales, if that, so she must be one of the very top sellers on it). Etsy has also a really nice community of craftspeople (including crochet and knitting!) and my experience of buying from these passionate craftspeople-cum-sellers has been extremely positive.

Other goat’s milk / oatmeal soaps from Etsy sellers I’ve favourited:

Plain Jane Oatmeal Bar from Fairybubbles (464 transactions, 100% positive)

Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Castor Oil, Safflower Oil,
Glycerine (kosher, vegatable in orgin), Purified Water,
Goat Milk,Sorbitol (moisturizer),Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier), Soybean Protein (conditioner), Fragrance Oil

Anjou Pear and Goat’s Milk Soap (from FlourishBathBody, 2183 transactions, 100% positive)
    http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=39120730

Ingredients: sodium cocoate, sodium palmate, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, carthamus tinctorius (safflower) seed oil, glycerin, water, goats milk, sorbitol, sorbitan oleate, glycine soja (soybean) protein, fragrance, color.

And instead of Goat’s milk, you may want to try Vegan alternatives, such as Shea butter and Coconut milk. For example these ones from Youstinksoap (7964 transactions, 100% positive):

    Coconut Milk soap
    http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=39364156

“Coconut milk offers a vegan alternative to animal based milks and contains emollient fats that pamper the skin. The amount of coconut milk used in this bar is a high percentage, the soap bubbles like crazy due to the natural high sugar content of the milk. Fragrance free, but does have a faint, sweet coconut scent.

I began making handmade soap as an alternative to the beauty/bath bars on the market. Those bars are actually detergent based & strip your skin of its natural oils, leaving it dull, dry & itchy. What started as a necessary item due to allergies has turned into an obsession. I strive to produce the perfect bar with each and every small cold processed batch. Our soap has changed our skin, our children’s skin, friends and family. Once you give in to a handmade bar, you’ll have a hard time going back to regular soap. Indulge yourself, we think your skin will enjoy it too!

The cold process soap making recipe consists of water, lye and oils. Combined together the chemical process is called saponification; a hydrogen, oxygen, sodium and fatty acid reaction. Final product has no lye and is super-fatted with skin nourishing oils. The by-product of this process is glycerin. Glycerin acts as a natural humectant – it draws moisture from the air into your skin. The vast majority of commercial soap makers extract this beneficial ingredient.

I do not use any animal products and consider our fragrance oil soaps to be 97% natural and vegan. Whats the 3%? High quality skin safe fragrance oil, oxides and micas."

Sorry for sounding like a complete soap saleswoman above, but I am kinda evangelical about Etsy as an alternative marketplace for people interested in hand-made goods created by those who have a passion for their crafts.

I do have to say that I haven’t myself tried the particular soaps listed above, so I really cannot vouch for the moisturising quality of the above soap products at all. However, I just thought they may be worth checking out if you are wondering where you can get paraben-free, all natural home-made goats’ milk soap.

    Snowdrops,

Wow, thanks first!!! Two years, I didn’t know that there is such an online store etsy.com at all. The soap I mentioned here is not expensive, cost about US$2.99. There are a lot of home-made or hand-made craftworks online. I will check them out later. Thanks again!

    bakingmaniac:

    Jenni:
